Who are we looking for?
We’re currently looking for a Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team and help to plan, implement, oversee and maintain servers, network infrastructure and projects. Working within a team of System Administration, System Integration and cooperating with L2 platform support team, your key responsibility will be to provide Network operations center monitoring maintenance, event escalation, and problem resolution collaboration.
As a Senior NOC Specialist you will have responsibility for:
- Proactive monitoring maintenance
- Interaction with our customers and staff on a technical level
- Communication with other System Administrators and Development teams
- Deployment of new environments based on product specifications or upgrades of existing ones
We expect you to:
Be experienced with :
- incident handling and escalation processes
- support or managing deployments/rollouts
- containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
- support or managing server virtualization
Have knowledge of :
- Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and Nagios
- Linux/UNIX based systems
- VMWare Server/ESX or HyperV/Virtual Server
- Networking technologies such as MikroTik, CISCO, Fortinet and others
As well as to :
- have a CS or related degree
- be fluent in English due to daily communication with international team
- willing to learn new technologies
Pluses if you:
- Have hands-on experience with AWS
- Have CCNA/CCNP or MCITP certification
- Are familiar with complex LAN Routing and Switching topologies
- Have experience with Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
- Are able to troubleshoot network issues including backbone infrastructure issues
