We recruit an HR Operations Manager for a major European company in the services sector, with more than 4,000 employees. The job covers Polish operations, is based in Katowice and reports to the Group HR Operations Director.
The role is responsible for the:
Operational and tactical elements of HR in Poland that facilitate an outstanding employee experience and align’s the HR policies, processes and systems to deliver an impactful people strategy.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Accountability for the data input and system accuracy of our HRIS
- Administration of all aspects of the employee life cycle e.g. New joiner contract, employee files and maintaining work hour records company decrees and other required documents
- First point of contact for employee queries regarding policies, paid time off etc.
- Report creation; HR metrics to be used and shared with the senior management team to identify trends and patterns
- Collaboration with finance to manage headcount and salary cost management, including relevant reports and analysis
- Ensuring accuracy of salary calculations and approvals
- Ensuring confidentiality of data
- Working closely with the HRBP regarding employee relation issues to mitigate both legal and reputational risk. Preparing and managing legal processes.
- Working in partnership with our external accounting company to collate and provide payroll updates
- Project support including M&A’s and proposed change plans
- Ensure policies and procedures are updated and accurate in line with local legislation
- Working with the wider operations team to create best practice processes and policies and all other duties as assigned
Successful candidates will have:
- Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager or similar role
- Experience of working across different regions preferably Eastern Europe
- Good knowledge of European and Polish labour law
- Hands-on experience with HR Information Systems
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- A desire to improve and look for opportunities to streamline processes and procedures
