Recrutam unĀ European GBS Finance Accounting Delivery Lead Senior Manager pentru una dintre cele mai mari si mai cunoscute corporatii multinationale din lume, cu prezenta in peste 170 de tari. Jobul este in Bucuresti. Candidatii trebuie sa aiba experienta relevanta de raportare pe strandarele USGAAP.

Role Profile:

Single GBS point of contact for Regional Finance; Reports to F&A Strategy & Regional Delivery Partner, Europe; Partners with Global F&A service Centre, Regional FP&A, Category & Business Unit finance teams.

Manages a team of +60 FTEs, with 4 direct reports, and manages a multi-million Euros budget. Most of the business into Europe, and occasionally global.

Works closely to GBS ITC & PTP Delivery Leads, GBS F&A Transformation Lead, Regional FP&A & BU/Category Finance Leads. Key Partners are European Finance LT, Internal Control, BU/Category Finance Directors; Supply Chain Finance Leads, Internal Controls teams, External auditors

Mission:

  • To lead a critical finance and accounting workstream ensuring: Talent is recruited, developed and managed to deliver high-performance outputs and excellent collaboration and business partnership; Accountable for delivering consistent and reliable performance and direction for the Regional GBS team; ensuring speedy resolution of inquiries and/or issues
  • To provide financial management support, value added analysis and insight to assist the business in efficient management and control of our financial statements; ensuring proactive reporting and visibility to support decision making.
  • Supervision of the consolidation and distribution of monthly standard reporting.
  • Lead the people development strategy & drive standardization of process across a team of financial accountants, controllers & business partners supporting core finance
  • Creates a culture of financial discipline, operational excellence and continuous improvement with a drive towards enhanced productivity & customer experience

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accurate & timely submission of P&L/Balance Sheet actuals & forecasting/budget process deliverables
  • Works collaboratively across Local, Regional and Global teams to understand / identify end to end process connections & interdependencies; improving customer service, insights & results
  • Drives & nurtures a continuous improvement culture to drive improved process and system capability
  • Serves as the main/primary point of contact for handling issues and escalations from the business
  • Motivates, develops and leads a large team of finance SMEs to ensure operational excellence while building strong financial insights & innovative solutions
  • Partners across other regions to share best practice and ensure opportunities to scale / standardized are assessed
  • Ensures strong governance and structures in place to ensure all process improvements/changes are delivered & sustainable driving a process centric organization
  • To Commit & deliver against SLA/KPI end to end performance & process targets
  • Performs periodic review of process documentation, training plans and controls to ensure all are up to date
  • Be a key member of the Regional GBS Leadership Team & the Global F&A Leadership team, focusing on talent management, succession planning and driving engagement & a strong culture.
  • Key member of people development committee

Candidate profile:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant or MBA
  • Strong knowledge & experience in financial processes, including planning and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge & experience of GAAP accounting standards, IFRS is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Strong management experience with 4+ years managing a large team
  • Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet Cash Flow
  • Understanding of the business
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to work well with others in a team environment, work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and develop relationship at multiple levels
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with managing multiple deadlines and working to tight timeframes.
  • Customer focused, must be adaptable and comfortable with evolving requirements.

  • Drives Engagement
  • Proficiency with – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other IT tools
  • High level of English
